If you’ve ever met a Catahoula, you know they’re unlike any other dog. We have one of our own named Elsa Jane. She is the sweetest, smartest, most loyal companion I’ve ever had… and she’s just a little bit of a scavenger too. She did steal an entire box of Popeyes Chicken one time! 

She inspired this design because she represents everything I love about Louisiana’s incredible Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog—our official state dog.

Originally bred to track and hunt wild boar and deer in the Louisiana swamps, Catahoulas are known for their intelligence, determination, and unmatched loyalty. They’re rugged working dogs with hearts of gold for the people they love.

This shirt is my little tribute to Elsa Jane and to every Catahoula that’s ever stolen someone’s heart.
